The Stables

This lovely spacious family room has a large super king bed and two single beds (bunks) suitable for both adults or children. Or we can make the room up for four singles. We have reinstated one of the original stable partitions to provide some privacy between the bunks and the other beds. The room opens directly onto the Steading courtyard.

As with all the downstairs rooms the flooring was salvaged from the Copper Box Olympic Stadium. The duvets, pillows and beds are all made from organic materials and there are no metal springs in the mattrasses. The natural latex mattrass behaves like memory foam without releasing any chemicals, while the duvets and pillows are made from Welsh wool – keeping you warm and snug.

The en suite shower room has a clarge walk in shower using an old cow ‘bis’ as part of the shower screen. We have also used the old roof timber to support the basins. We like to reuse here!
